Haigh Hall was the perfect setting for a couple with a touch of class. The bride's brother serenaded the ceremony attendees with an impressive piano performance and the day eased into a beautiful warm summer's evening. A lovely day.
175th Anniversary of the First Cunard Crossing
It'd been a long day's shooting today up in Wigan. I dropped my second shooter back home and when I arrived outside my house I heard the horn of the QM2 in the river. I raced down to the New Brighton waterfront to see what I could see of the enormous vessel beginning its homage to the Britannia. 175 years ago today, that ship set sail from Liverpool on the first transatlantic Cunard voyage. It's classy that Cunard is doing this. Quite a sight.
Having grown up on Merseyside, it's so gratifying to see these beautiful famous ships back in the river so regularly. Liverpool is booming again.
Sneak Peak: Heidi & Marc's Chester Abbots Well Hotel Wedding
There's never a dull moment with Marc around! This was quite a wedding at the Chester Abbots Well Hotel in Cheshire. The moment the videographer and I saw the incredible yellow field by the venue, we knew we had to shoot in it! Congratulations Marc and good luck Heidi!
